Light Red Course:
What is Light Red About?
Light Red is a twelve week study using the Dallas Willard text "Renovation of The Heart."
It is designed for those as an introduction to seeing the vision of what Life in God's Kingdom or Will is like.
Within a very small class of 1 leader to 3 students you will explore the reality of what Jesus was getting at when he said the following three statements in the Gospels:
Thoughtful Scripture
- "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
- "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples."
John 15:5-8
- 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself."
Matthew 22:37-39
