Since the time of the Enlightenment the Church has moved away from Discipleship to Jesus.

God's Kingdom is now and is wherever His will is being done. We can abide in that will by cultivating a constant nourshing of walking intimately with Jesus.

Lesson 2-Loving as God Loves. The Kingdom Heart
Lesson 2 deals with the text found in Matthew 5:21-48 and Chapter 5 of Divine Conspiracy (DC) by Dallas Willard. Reading DC will stimulate you to think more critically as you pursue the questions put forth. Why this text? We believe it is the clearest explanation of what the Teacher was saying as he spoke on the hill that glorious day.

Now we move to Matthew 6. We continue to examine our Teachers words to the crowd gathered below the mount on that incredible day. In these thirty-four verses, Jesus exposes the many unspoken realities concerning the motives of the Pharisees concerning giving, prayer, fasting, material goods, and worry.

Imagine yourself in the crowd that day, hanging on every word Jesus said described in Matthew 7:28-29. Jesus taught with authority like they had never heard before! Do you sense the vision of abundant life that was being cast before them that day and how it created a hunger in them as never before?

In this lesson we will review the entire talk relating it to our transformation to Christlikeness.
Everything Jesus said was to move His people towards Christlikeness. Not one word was wasted.
